The green smoothie is not one of my favorite smoothies, but I like this combination because the taste of spinach is quite moderate. I love a lot of spinach in salads and any salty options for eating, but in a drink, this is the only option I like. If you are like me, you can try this green smoothie.

When I want to lose weight or tonify my body, I include in my daily menu one smoothie a day, as I usually replace my breakfast with it. So I reduce the calories that I eat for the day and I supply my body with useful vitamins and minerals in a natural way. I prefer the smoothies instead of juices because they have all of the fibers that are also very useful. This is my way to eat different fruits in one meal.
I prefer the fruit smoothies, but for variety, I sometimes make this green smoothie. With it and the other 13 smoothies, you can have a different breakfast for two weeks.
When I want to lose weight or detox my body I consume only smoothies for two weeks. For me and my husband the effect is incredible. It is quite difficult to do, but it’s only two weeks after which we look and feel much better. At this point I only drink smoothies because it’s spring and it’s time to get in shape for the summer.
I’m not a nutritionist and I’m not telling you a magic diet for weight loss, I’m just sharing my way of a quick weight loss the accumulated in the winter a few extra pounds. I’m not advising you to make a diet only with smoothies because maybe not everyone will feel good. But it can replace one of your meals for the day, and so gradually reduce excess pounds or simply eat healthier.
Here’s what ingredients you need for a green smoothie:
How to make a green smoothie
• 1 cup of fresh spinach
• 1 banana
• 1/2 pear and 1/2 apple ( or 1 pear, or 1 apple)
• Water or milk (cow milk, almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, rice milk, hazelnut milk or whatever you prefer) I use only water in this smoothie
• Honey (optional if you like your smoothies sweet) I like sweet smoothies and always put honey on it
Preparing a smoothie is always very easy. Put the sliced fruits into the blender, add the remaining liquid, ice, and honey and mix well. Pour into a suitable glass and consume it immediately. If you want the smoothie to be perfectly smooth, it is important to use a good blender. The best blenders are quite expensive and I prefer to use this blender which makes my smoothies really smooth. I have been using it for several years now and the results are always flawless.
