Banana, apple and orange smoothie
The smoothies in the summer are one of my favorite drinks, which often replace some of the meals during the day and help me stay in shape.
What do I like about them? They are delicious, useful, easy to prepare, have unlimited variety and everything is a matter of taste and imagination. I prefer the smoothies that I prepare and consume to be mostly or entirely fruitful. The vegetables that I add are carrots or spinach. I don’t like and I can’t get used to the taste of vegetables in the smoothies, so I prepare them for my taste. I love vegetables but prepared in salads or meals and I think I’ll continue to consume them like that.

Why smoothie, and not just eat the fruits?
When I consume fruits, afterwards in most cases, follows a bloating of the belly, but when they’re in a liquid form I don’t have the same problem.
Also when the fruits are blended, the body is able to absorb more of the beneficial substances.
It is very important to choose a powerful blender to make the smoothies extremely smooth.
My basic and most favorite smoothie contains a banana, an apple and an orange
• One banana
• Half an orange
• Half an apple
• Honey (optional)
• Cold water
Put everything in the blender and blend to a full smoothness. This is the low calorie option and I don’t add yogurt, cow milk, almond milk or coconut milk. You can replace the water with your preferred milk.
This is a smoothie that I can drink every day and I don’t get sick of it.
Bananas contain a lot of potassium. It is necessary for the heart, the liver, the brain, the bones, the teeth, but especially, the muscles.
Also, potassium regulates metabolism and helps to remove excess fluid from the body. This is the main reason for it to be present daily in my menu because I like to eat salty, then I hold water in the body and this is the easiest way to get rid of it.
The orange contains vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant.
The apple is well known for its benefits to the body. There’s even a saying: “One apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
Honey is well known for its beneficial qualities, I’ve even heard of it being called a medicine in a jar.
I prefer to prepare the smoothies from fresh fruits and I always add ice for thickening.
I’m sure I’m not showing you a new recipe, but I’m hoping to convince you that smoothies are a good and delicious way to get vitamins and minerals in your body.
