Melon is the main ingredient in today’s smoothie. What I’m doing lately is to drink one smoothie everyday. I love fruits and I like to use them in the smoothies. They are super fresh and easy to prepare.
In today’s smoothie, I’m going to use some of my favorite fruits again.
Melon, banana and apple. I love melon, but I love it the most with prosciutto, jamon serrano or jamon Iberico and white wine, but that’s another thing. Today, we are on a fruitful and healthy theme.
Bananas make the smoothie thick and you should put two because the melon puts a lot of liquid.
When I eat an apple, I’m hungry after an hour, but in a thick smoothie it’s fine.
Honey is added according to how sweet you want it to be. Sometimes, the melon, the bananas and the apple are sweet enough and the honey will make it too sweet. You decide if it needs honey.
I put a little bit of almond milk, because very often the melon drops a lot of liquid. Here are the ingredients of today’s smoothie with melon.
I always add ice for thickening.
How to make a melon, banana, apple, almond milk and honey smoothie
• 2 bananas
• 1 apple
• Almond milk
• Honey (if needed)
It’s the easiest to prepare. Put the melon, bananas, an apple, almond milk, honey (optional) and ice in the blender and smash up to smoothness.
