The lavender plants in the clay pots have blossomed in all their beauty and it’s time to pick them up. I can’t describe how strong and pleasant it smells. I also love the lavender when it blossoms (then, of course, it is also the most beautiful) as well as the rest of the year. It is an evergreen plant, which is grown very easily here in Spain because of the mild Mediterranean climate.
You can see what the front yard and the blooming lavender look like right here.
Even for a moment I didn’t wonder what to do with this lavender. Recently I bought three galvanized buckets that are really cool. For now, they are empty and waiting for the right decoration. I can’t wait to put a lavender bouquets in the three buckets to dry out so that it remains for decoration.
How to make the lavender decoration yourself
Here’s what I did:
I picked up a huge bouquet of lavender out of the two clay pots from the front yard. Additional bonuses: my hands smell incredibly good from the lavender.
I made three equally large bouquets that I cut the right size of the buckets. I fastened them and put them in the buckets.
It was a pleasure to do all of this! I am very pleased with the result, the home decoration and it was 100% my idea. I love it!!
